After first attending ETHDenver in 2024, literally days after launching its native token, $AXGT, AxonDAO is back … and welcomes everyone to the deep end of the pool: The Pitch Tank. Over the past year, AxonDAO has introduced novel ideas to the decentralized science space, helping the burgeoning sector to build a narrative of possibilities. But as we all know, there’s a difference between aspiration and application.
Rolling out projects like A+ Voice, CureRing, and CureOS over the last year, AxonDAO proved that ideas are powerful, but also that ideas need support to become a tangible reality — and that’s the intention for the Pitch Tank. ETHDenver 2025 has transformed Denver into a hub of Ethereum-focused innovation and collaboration, and AxonDAO hopes to inspire both. If you’re warmed up and ready to throw or hummed up and ready to sing, the Pitch Tank will take place on February 28th at the SRS Denver in the Studio Rehearsal Spaces, 1665 S. Acoma Street.
Pitch Potential! Party Essential?!
Everyone’s got their own idea of what a “party” means, but AxonDAO does understand the stress that normal grant processes entail. For this reason, the Pitch Tank is designed to be fun — collaborative, well-meaning, and yeah, fun. The details are as follows:
You can form teams on the spot, brainstorm groundbreaking DeSci solutions, and pitch to a panel. Or, don’t, and enjoy a high-energy networking environment with a bunch of cool cats… then, when your new group of friends inevitably do come up with something, go ahead and Pitch! Teams battle it out in three-minute lightning pitches, and the crowd helps decide the winner. That winner will immediately receive $1,000 USDC, and if the AxonDAO community approves a proposal, a research grant of approximately $20,000 from AxonDAO to fund their vision!
But the Pitch part is only one glimmer of the disco ball. Hear an expert panel speak about how DAOs, blockchain, and open-access science are revolutionizing academia and funding, then stay for the AxonDAO afterparty, where drinks and music may just create some innovative dance moves. So, whether you’re a developer, researcher, investor, or Web3 enthusiast, go join AxonDAO at ETHDenver. We heard it will be fun, and since DeSci Hub’s mantra is “Make Science Fun Again,” we’re super-hoping that’s the case.
